Our Story
From Frustration to Responsibility—A Call to Action
We are innovators, designers, and entrepreneurs—but above all, we are parents.
Like many, we look at the world our children will inherit and feel a growing sense of urgency. The systems we rely on—our industries, our economies, our governments—are moving too slowly in the face of environmental challenges. Every year, millions of appliances are designed to fail, discarded, and replaced, fueling a cycle of waste that seems impossible to break.
But we refuse to stand by and do nothing.
We believe that entrepreneurship can be a force for change, a way to challenge outdated systems and build something better. If the market is saturated with disposable products, then let’s create ones that last. If repairability is an afterthought, then let’s make it a core principle. If corporations chase infinite growth at the cost of people and the planet, then let’s build a different kind of company—one rooted in human values, local ecosystems, and regenerative thinking.
Why Start Heirloom Project
We saw an industry that had lost its way:
Appliances were getting cheaper—but not better.
Repairs were becoming more expensive than buying new.
Profits were prioritized over durability, repairability, and sustainability.
It wasn’t just frustrating—it was irresponsible.
So we asked ourselves: What if we could flip the model?
What if we designed appliances the way they used to be made—built to last, built to be fixed, and built with purpose?
This idea became Heirloom Project—a commitment to reimagining home appliances with precision, sustainability, and honesty.
The Drip Coffee Machine: A Test of Our Values
We chose to start with a coffee machine because it represents everything wrong with modern appliances—but also because people are deeply passionate about coffee.
A great cup of coffee is an experience, a ritual, and for many, an essential part of daily life. Yet, the machines used to brew it are often poorly made, difficult to repair, and built to be replaced every few years. We believe coffee lovers deserve better.
Most modern coffee machines break within 3-5 years.
They are nearly impossible to repair
They generate waste
By designing a high-performance, sustainable coffee machine, we’re proving that appliances can be built to last—combining the love of coffee with a movement for real change.
No plastic touches your coffee or water.
Parts are replaceable, so repairs are easy and affordable.
Built with stainless steel and precision components to last decades.
If we can change how people think about their coffee machine, we can start changing how they think about all appliances

But this is just the beginning.
Heirloom Project isn’t just about making better appliances—it’s about reshaping an industry. It’s about proving that companies can put people and the planet first. It’s about taking responsibility for the future we’re leaving behind—for our children and generations to come.
And it starts now.
